Umrah Software in the USA and Canada: Options Compared (2026)

Only a handful of Umrah software vendors show a US or Canadian presence. We compared four from their own websites, and set out the seller-of-travel licensing and Nusuk rules that shape what a North American Umrah agency needs.

Key takeaways

  • We found four Umrah software products whose own websites show a US presence. We found no Canadian-based vendor.
  • Only TravelBoost is a US-incorporated company with a dedicated Hajj and Umrah product and published prices, from US$79 a month.
  • None of the four states a Nusuk or Nusuk Masar integration on the pages we reviewed.
  • In North America the agency itself is regulated: California and Washington require seller-of-travel registration, and Ontario and British Columbia license travel sellers.
  • Official US and Canadian travel advice warns about Hajj and Umrah package fraud, so clear records and written terms protect both the agency and the pilgrim.

Short answer: As of 25 October 2026, four Umrah software products show a US presence on their own sites: TravelBoost, Travel Portal Solution, Travelopro and Flightslogic. Only TravelBoost is US-incorporated with a dedicated Hajj and Umrah module and published prices. We found no Canadian vendor, and none of the four states a Nusuk integration.

Who sells Umrah software in the USA and Canada?

Very few vendors do. Most Umrah software is built in South Asia, the Gulf or Turkey and sold worldwide. North American Umrah agencies usually buy from those vendors, from general travel software firms, or from Saudi-facing platforms.

On 25 October 2026 we searched for Umrah and Hajj agency software sold in the United States and Canada. We kept only vendors whose own site shows a US or Canadian incorporation, office or phone number. Each also needed a Hajj or Umrah product page. Several capable products, such as Pakistan-based PHPTRAVELS, show no North American presence, so they are not in the table. Our Pakistan comparison covers PHPTRAVELS.

What rules shape an Umrah agency in North America?

Two sets of rules apply: local travel-seller law and Saudi pilgrimage rules. The agency must satisfy both, and its software has to keep the records each one implies.

Saudi rules sit on top. The US State Department says Nusuk is the only official platform for Hajj bookings (opens in new tab). It adds that Umrah can be done year-round outside the Hajj season. It also warns of fraudulent operators selling Hajj and Umrah packages. Global Affairs Canada tells pilgrims to deal only with agencies licensed locally and authorised by the Saudi embassy in Ottawa (opens in new tab).

For the Saudi side of the workflow, see our guide to Nusuk Masar for Umrah agencies.

How we compared these products

Every cell in the table comes from the vendor's own pages, opened on 25 October 2026. "Not stated" means we could not find it there. We do not repeat customer-count claims. The list is unranked.

UmrahCore publishes this guide. It appears in the last row, labelled as the publisher's product, and is described in its own section. It is not ranked against the others.

Notes on each provider

TravelBoost

TravelBoost is the most Hajj- and Umrah-specific product here. Its mahram validation, visa batch exports and withdrawal workflow suit group operators. Its stated focus is the Middle East, Asia and Europe, and the only phone contact is a UK WhatsApp number.

Travel Portal Solution

Travel Portal Solution lists a US and Canada phone line, with headquarters in India. Its Umrah page describes the Maqam GDS booking flow, which predates the current Nusuk Masar contracting process. Ask how the product works with Nusuk Masar today.

Travelopro

Travelopro is a general B2B travel booking platform with strong agent and credit controls. Its Hajj and Umrah page describes flight, hotel and package booking, but not pilgrim documents or visa tracking.

Flightslogic

Flightslogic sells a cloud booking engine for agencies with many sales channels. Its Hajj and Umrah page is brief, and much of its wording closely matches Travelopro's page. Ask for a product demo specific to Umrah.

How should a North American Umrah agency choose?

  1. Licensing records. Check that every booking keeps its terms, payments and refund history. Seller-of-travel rules and trust accounts depend on clean client-money records.
  2. Nusuk workflow. Ask how the system handles your Saudi Umrah company's packages, Nusuk bookings and permits. Older Maqam-era flows are not enough.
  3. Pilgrim documents. Passport capture, mahram links and vaccination records should sit on one pilgrim profile. Our visa processing workflow explains why.
  4. Partner agencies. If you sell through other agencies, test a sub-agent login. Check what each partner can see and what they owe.
  5. Currency. Pilgrims pay in US or Canadian dollars while hotels and services are bought in riyals. Each booking should freeze its exchange rate.
  6. Data protection. Passport images are sensitive. Ask where data is hosted, who can access it and how access is logged.

Our vendor-neutral Umrah software buyer's checklist turns these into demo questions.

Where UmrahCore fits

UmrahCore is a multi-tenant B2B back-office for Umrah and Hajj operators. It is built around a Master → Reseller → Agent hierarchy, so each partner works under its own login, branding, prices and balance. Its 17 core modules cover pilgrims, quotations, bookings, packages, flights, hotels, transport, visas, meals, documents and finance.

Every booking keeps the currency and price it was sold at. UmrahCore connects to Nusuk Masar, GDS flight systems and hotel supplier APIs. Its security model includes tenant isolation, two-factor sign-in and an append-only audit trail.

Pricing is published in US dollars: Starter from US$51 a month and Business from US$101 a month, with an Enterprise perpetual licence from US$10,000. Other markets: see our comparisons of Umrah software in India and Saudi Arabia.

Frequently asked questions

Is there Umrah software made in the USA or Canada?

Very little. Of the products we reviewed on 25 October 2026, only TravelBoost is a US-incorporated company with a dedicated Hajj and Umrah module. We found no Canadian-based Umrah software vendor. Most products sold to North American agencies are built elsewhere.

How much does Umrah agency software cost in the USA?

Most vendors do not publish prices. TravelBoost publishes plans from US$79 to US$199 a month and recommends its Growth plan for Hajj and Umrah. UmrahCore publishes pricing from US$51 a month.

Does a US Umrah agency need a licence?

It depends on the state. California requires sellers of travel to register with the Attorney General, and Washington requires a seller-of-travel licence. Check the rules in each state where you sell.

Do Canadian Umrah agencies need to be registered?

In Ontario, travel retailers and wholesalers must register with TICO. In British Columbia, travel sellers need a licence from Consumer Protection BC. Global Affairs Canada also advises using agencies authorised by the Saudi embassy.

Which Umrah software integrates with Nusuk?

None of the four products with a US presence states a Nusuk or Nusuk Masar integration on the pages we reviewed. UmrahCore states a live Nusuk Masar connection. Ask any vendor to demonstrate the integration it claims.

Can US pilgrims book Hajj through a local travel agent?

The US State Department says Nusuk is the only official platform for Hajj bookings, and Hajj bookings, visas and payments cannot be made through third-party agents outside Nusuk. Umrah outside the Hajj season can use an e-visa.
