Umrah Software in India: Providers Compared (2026)

Six India-based companies sell identifiable Hajj and Umrah agency software. We compared what their own websites say about Umrah features, agent portals, integrations and pricing, and set out the Indian Hajj and Saudi Nusuk context buyers should know.

Key takeaways

  • We verified six India-based Hajj and Umrah software providers on their own websites. Several are general travel-portal vendors with a Hajj and Umrah page.
  • None of the six publishes a price. ETOS Global lists every Umrah360 plan as "On Request".
  • None of the six product pages mentions Nusuk. Two name older Saudi e-Umrah systems, and one names Maqam GDS.
  • India regulates Hajj Group Organisers through the Ministry of Minority Affairs, and HGO eligibility counts Umrah experience. Clean Umrah records therefore help later.
  • Ask every vendor to demonstrate sub-agent accounts, Nusuk-era workflows and per-pilgrim records with your own data.

Short answer: As of 18 October 2026, six India-based companies sell identifiable Hajj and Umrah agency software on their own websites. They are Travelopro, Trawex, HajjUmrahTech, Qtech (Connect Umrah), Technoheaven and ETOS Global (Umrah360). Most are travel-portal vendors with B2B agent tools. None publishes a price, and none of their product pages mentions Nusuk.

How are Hajj and Umrah organised in India?

Hajj from India is a government-managed quota, while Umrah is sold privately. A Press Information Bureau release (opens in new tab) confirms that Haj moved from the Ministry of External Affairs to the Ministry of Minority Affairs on 1 October 2016. The Haj Committee of India works under the Haj Committee Act, 2002.

The Haj Policy 2027 (opens in new tab) allocates 70% of India's quota to the Haj Committee and 30% to Haj Group Organisers (HGOs). It also notes that Saudi Arabia has made all Haj processes online. The Ministry's HGO Policy 2027 (opens in new tab) describes HGOs as registered private tour operators. It groups them into combined HGOs, activates their wallet and quota on the Nusuk portal, and sets experience and turnover thresholds.

Umrah matters here too. The HGO Policy lets a new applicant qualify with at least two Umrah operations in the preceding five financial years, plus Umrah turnover. It also requires an agreement with a licensed Saudi Umrah operator. We found no official Indian source for a separate government licence for Umrah operators. The Ministry of Tourism runs only a voluntary recognition scheme (opens in new tab) for travel agents and tour operators.

Which Saudi rules shape Umrah software for Indian agencies?

Saudi rules now run through Nusuk. The Pilgrim Experience Program says the one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa (opens in new tab) needs a service package from an approved Nusuk provider for each visit. Each pilgrim also needs a Nusuk permit before arrival.

For the 1448 AH season, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched a service to qualify external agents (opens in new tab) and finalise contracts through Masar Nusuk. Indian agencies sell as external agents under contract with Saudi Umrah companies. So software should track contracts, packages and pilgrims in the order Nusuk expects. Our 1448 AH season guide covers the calendar.

What problems do Indian Umrah agencies need software to solve?

  • Sub-agent networks. Many agencies sell through agents in other cities and states. Each agent needs its own rates, credit and balance.
  • Rupees and riyals. Pilgrims pay in rupees, while hotels, transport and visas are bought in riyals. Profit per group needs a frozen exchange rate on each booking.
  • Pilgrim documents. Passports, photos and mahram links have to be right before anything is submitted.
  • Track record. HGO eligibility counts past Umrah operations and turnover, so per-group records and accounts carry long-term value.

How did we choose and compare these providers?

On 18 October 2026 we searched for Hajj and Umrah agency software sold in India and opened each candidate's own website. A provider was included only if its own site describes an identifiable Hajj or Umrah product. It also had to show an Indian presence, such as an Indian address or +91 phone number. We excluded custom-development pitches, franchise programmes, wholesalers, blog-only pages, non-Indian vendors and one product site whose pages contained unrelated spam links.

Every cell comes from the vendor's own pages; "not stated" means we could not find it there. The list is unranked. UmrahCore, which publishes this guide, appears in the last row, labelled as the publisher's product, and is described separately.

Notes on each provider

Travelopro

Travelopro lists an office in JP Nagar, Bengaluru, alongside US, UK and UAE contacts. Its Hajj and Umrah page is strongest on B2B mechanics: agent wallets, credit limits and sub-agent branches. It reads as a general travel portal applied to Hajj and Umrah, so ask how pilgrims, visas and rooming are handled.

Trawex Technologies

Trawex Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is also based in JP Nagar, Bengaluru. It offers three ways to deploy, including help for your own developers. Its page names no specific GDS, so confirm which suppliers are live for you.

HajjUmrahTech

HajjUmrahTech is the most pilgrim-centred product here, with room types, family and mahram grouping and automatic Hajj hotel allocation. However, the integrations it names are older Saudi e-Umrah systems, and the page carries a 2020 copyright. Ask how it works with current Nusuk processes.

Qtech Software (Connect Umrah)

Qtech Software is a Mumbai travel-technology company. Its Connect Umrah product page is brief and lists no specific modules. Ask for a full feature list and a demo before shortlisting it.

Technoheaven Consultancy

Technoheaven is headquartered in Gujarat and has a Dubai office. It focuses on packaging and distribution: dynamic packages, agent markups and B2B and B2C booking engines. Pilgrim document and visa handling are not described on the page.

ETOS Global (Umrah360)

Umrah360 is aimed at inbound and outbound Umrah operators, with a series module for group departures. Its pricing page lists India and global columns, but every plan is "On Request". Parts of the content date from 2022 and name Maqam rather than Nusuk, so confirm what is current.

How should Indian agencies choose Umrah software?

  1. Agent structure. Decide whether you need one layer of agents or resellers with their own sub-agents. Log in as a sub-agent during the demo.
  2. Nusuk-era workflow. Ask how packages, contracts and visas follow current Nusuk steps, not older e-Umrah portals.
  3. Pilgrim records. Check passport capture, mahram links and document status per pilgrim. See our visa processing workflow for what good looks like.
  4. Rupee and riyal accounting. Confirm that cost, sale price and exchange rate are frozen on each booking.
  5. Evidence of operations. If you may apply as an HGO, keep per-group Umrah records and accounts you can produce later.
  6. Total cost. Ask for setup, hosting, add-on and support costs in writing, since no vendor here publishes prices.

Our vendor-neutral Umrah software buyer's checklist lists the demo questions in full.

Where UmrahCore fits

UmrahCore is a multi-tenant B2B back-office for Umrah and Hajj operators. It is built around a Master → Reseller → Agent hierarchy, so every tier works under its own login, branding, prices and balance. Its 17 core modules cover pilgrims, quotations, bookings, packages, flights, hotels, transport, visas, meals, documents and finance. Each booking keeps the currency and price it was sold at. UmrahCore connects to Nusuk Masar, GDS flight systems and hotel supplier APIs, and captures passports in bulk with OCR.

Pricing is published in US dollars: Starter from US$51 a month and Business, which adds agent and reseller management, from US$101 a month. Every plan includes tenant isolation, 2FA and an audit trail. Other markets: compare Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Umrah software in India?

It depends on how you sell. Travelopro, Trawex and Technoheaven suit agencies that want B2B booking engines with agent wallets. HajjUmrahTech is more pilgrim-centred. Compare at least two products in a demo using your own departures.

How much does Umrah software cost in India?

None of the six India-based providers we reviewed on 18 October 2026 publishes a price. ETOS Global lists every Umrah360 plan as "On Request". UmrahCore publishes US dollar pricing from US$51 a month.

Which Indian Umrah software integrates with Nusuk?

None of the six product pages we reviewed mentions Nusuk as of 18 October 2026. Some name older Saudi e-Umrah systems or Maqam GDS. Ask vendors to demonstrate any Nusuk integration they claim.

Do Umrah agencies in India need a government licence?

We found no official Indian source for a separate Umrah operator licence. Hajj Group Organisers are registered under the Ministry of Minority Affairs HGO policy, and the Ministry of Tourism runs a voluntary recognition scheme for travel agents.

How does Umrah experience affect HGO registration in India?

Under the HGO Policy 2027, a new applicant can qualify with at least two Umrah operations in the preceding five financial years and Umrah turnover. It also needs an agreement with a licensed Saudi Umrah operator.

What should Indian agencies ask in an Umrah software demo?

Ask to log in as a sub-agent, to follow one pilgrim from passport scan to visa, to see rupee and riyal figures frozen on a booking, and to export all your data.
